The Mom Project is proud to be partnering with Accenture in direct support of their Technology Apprenticeship program. This program is intended to create opportunity for those interested in a career in Technology, but have not had the opportunity to obtain a 4 year degree.

  • With a high-school diploma/ equivalent or an associates degree (without a bachelors degree)
  • Reskillers seeking to enter an industry unrelated to their current or previous work experience

The work:

  • Develop technology solutions that make a difference to business, society, and the environment
  • Join a diverse and inclusive team, filled with different Accenture teammates from around the world
  • Actively work in delivering large IT solutions to clients on time and within budget, working closely with your team to ensure project deadlines and delivery standards are met.
  • Learn about every stage of the Service Delivery Lifecycle –– from new system rollouts to enhancements to ongoing maintenance of applications
  • Closely analyze and test any new components or enhancements to existing IT modules
  • Talk with team members to design solutions that meet end users’ needs and technical requirements
  • Act as a detective, looking closely at software to make sure everything’s working to specification.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues on all types of business systems.
  • Be a team player, supporting your colleagues and the client.
  • Help clients with installing and updating software.
  • Bring your best thinking to support the client's needs and your team's goals.

Here's what you need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Technology preferred but not required.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have a strong track record of good grades
  • Can look at problems both analytically and creatively
  • Feel comfortable speaking up and sharing your thoughts in person and in writing
  • Are curious about business and technology and want to constantly learn
  • Have experience being on a team –– at school, at another job, or in the military
  • Know some of the basics about web development or programming
  • Have participated in program management certification or have experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Exposure to advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, v-look ups, macros
