Job description

The Mom Project is proud to partner with Ameren in St. Louis, MO to launch their Bright Returns Program this fall. The program is designed for candidates who have taken a career pause of two or more years and who are ready to reengage in the workforce. As part of the program, you will join a cohort of others for a 6-month period with the potential to join the organization on a permanent basis upon successful completion.

What You Will Accomplish:
 You will use your leadership skills of SDLC/Waterfall methodology to direct staff and resolve
issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
 You will plan and manage resources to execute projects or project components from
inception through implementation.
 You will define and manage the scope and schedule of small to medium projects with some guidance, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
 You will define roles and responsibilities for the business line, IT Development, IT Operations, and individual teams
 You will assist with developing requests for proposals, searching for vendors and reviewing the contract.
 You will support Ameren’s PMO demand planning process.
 You will manage project budgets of small projects, review and approve invoices.
 You will develop project cash flows, revise project budgets and forecast as needed.
 You will manage and ensure quality of low risk/impact projects (e.g., coordinating meetings, tracking budget, following up on action items) using Waterfall project management methods.
 You will use the Project Management Office (PMO) methodology and participate in methodology refresh and enhancement opportunities.
 You will establish stakeholders and project expectations and priorities to help build a story of how the project drives business priorities.
 You will coordinate and report on project progress and accomplishments to the project team, stakeholders, and sponsors.

Required Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of experience in an IT Project Manager role.
 Will consider candidates without a degree if you have 5+ years of demonstrated & relevant experience in project management, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting or project accounting related to IT projects.
 3+ years of relevant experience including cost management systems to support project budget, forecast, and spend required.
 Knowledge with development methodologies waterfall and agile.
 Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
 Familiarity with ITIL is a huge plus.

$35.98 - $35.98/hour
