Role Description


***This is a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant Paralegal position located in Boston, MA Monday-Thursday and Hingham, MA on Friday.


The selected candidate will provide comprehensive paralegal and administrative support to our Trusts & Estates practice, serving as the primary client contact, responsible for developing comprehensive full-service experiences by managing communication, scheduling, document requests, case updates, administrative tasks and time tracking, to ensure seamless client service and efficient case progression.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary client contact, managing communication, scheduling appointments, fielding questions, and coordinating document requests.
  • Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, track case updates, and coordinate the delivery, filing, and recording of legal documents with various courts and agencies.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and revise legal and administrative documents, including wills, trusts, deeds, probate pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as document preparation, scanning, filing, and time tracking to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, clients, and third parties (e.g., financial institutions, government agencies) to gather information and ensure smooth project progression.


Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in Trusts & Estates, probate, or trust administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with legal practice management software.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail
