About the role:

Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, the Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing The Mom Project’s overall marketing automation strategy. In this role, the Marketing Automation Specialist will work closely with sales leadership, sales operations, and other cross-functional departments to identify, develop and deploy new marketing automation business processes.

The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and adjusting successful marketing automation programs to support product marketing objectives as well as broader company-wide marketing initiatives. As a HubSpot Admin, this role requires both marketing and technology savvy to ensure HubSpot is properly synced and integrated with all platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Intercom, TMP Platform, etc.) involved in marketing communications. Digital recruiting/talent acquisition experience is preferred but not required.

The Marketing Automation Specialist will actively maintain the marketing customer database - driving growth and leading data cleansing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be data-driven and implement testing strategies to drive towards conversion and deliver measurable results. This role will be key in establishing methodologies and business processes to help improve TMP’s overall marketing automation efficiency.

Responsibilities:


  • Become a proficient HubSpot user/admin, strategize about effective ways to set up workflows, and constantly look for ways to improve our use of the product

  • Design and build workflows in HubSpot that will facilitate the efficient/scalable execution of our day-to-day operations; ensure workflows and Salesforce integrations are set up properly for effective attribution and reporting

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Demand Gen and other business partners to meet company objectives and key results.

  • Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads through all stages of the sales funnel into customers.

  • Assist in managing our overall marketing automation tech stack; ensure it is optimized, well-maintained, and cost-effective

  • Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

  • Understand all internal tooling and how data is synced across all platforms.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • 3+ years of experience optimizing email marketing and re-engagement campaigns, including A/B testing, audience segmentation, and trigger logic.

  • Knowledgeable of sales methodologies and consultative selling, preferably with an e-commerce or SaaS-based company is preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge of HubSpot Marketing & Automation required

  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

  • Experience with deduplication tools (Insycle preferred) 

  • Experience with G-Suite preferred (comfortable manipulating and analyzing marketing data using Google Sheets)

  • You have a knack for organization and can manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, productivity, and time management.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve issues.

  • Strong work ethic and belief in the marketing automation vision.
