In addition to helping people get from point A to point B, they are working to bring the future closer with self-driving technology and urban air transport, removing barriers to healthcare, creating new freight-booking solutions, and helping companies provide a seamless employee travel experience.

We are seeking a Merchandising Product Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the in-app merchandising and content strategy for the company, including creation, QA, testing, and optimization of curated collections for evergreen use cases and seasonal moments
  • Partner with regional Marketing and Operations teams to support the execution of bespoke marketing campaigns driving to curated merchandising landing pages, in addition to spearheading new activation opportunities
  • Develop and operationalize merchandising playbooks to scale content creation
  • Establish best practices for content optimization considering channel, audience, timing, in-app placement, and other variables
  • Monitor merchandising analytics, run competitive audits, and maintain a pulse on food and retail trends to inform a dynamic content strategy
  • Engage cross-functional teams like Product, Data Science, Operations, and Marketing to influence the product roadmap and prioritize new features that will enhance merchandising experiences
  • Build, develop, and scale comprehensive merchandising strategies that will shape the vision and future of a dedicated Merchandising function

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years experience in marketing, merchandising, operations, and/or strategy roles with a desire to expand skill set
  • Experience in eCommerce, grocery, or CPG merchandising is preferred
  • Passionate about working at the intersection of marketing and merchandising in the on-demand delivery space
  • Track record of owning and executing cross-functional initiatives, with strong organization, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Adaptable to quick changes within both the company and industry, and strong level of comfort navigating ambiguity
  • The ability to effectively blend creativity and analytics - you have an intuition for design, copywriting, and creative direction, and are equally excited at the prospect of leveraging data - market research, consumer insights, and internal reporting - to inform strategic decisions
  • The skill to balance local market needs and a global-first mindset to drive impact at scale
  • Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail
  • A go-getter attitude - you’re willing to take a hands-on approach to get the job done and bias towards action
  • Highly collaborative - you know how to engage and mobilize multiple teams to drive execution towards shared goals

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This position is located onsite at our Customer’s San Francisco, CA office. There is no remote capability for this role

Please Note: In order to create a safe, productive work environment, our client is requiring all contractors who plan to be onsite to be fully vaccinated according to the CDC guidelines. Prior to coming into our offices, contractors will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated.

The salary range for this position is $57.08 - $67.08 per hour.
