The Mom Project is hiring a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to process payroll for the talent placed on assignment with our clients and assist with the transition onto our new best in class payrolling and benefits solution - WerkSuite. In this position, you will be the liaison between our vendors and hundreds of hard-working moms, dads and allies currently on assignment. This individual is responsible for the accurate reporting of timesheet data to our third-party payroll vendors and answering payroll and benefits questions submitted by the talent. In addition, you will be responsible for data entry into ADP for The Mom Project employee payroll and benefits on a biweekly basis, and ensuring the payroll is processed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:


  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute weekly and biweekly payroll programs for clients and The Mom Project including but not limited to new hires, benefit elections, pay changes, time tracking, and terminations.

  • Assist in the administration and coordination of time and attendance policies and programs for multiple client contacts and vendors.

  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from talent and employees.

  • Work closely with our People Operations team on payroll and benefits questions to include paychecks, PTO, Group Health Plans, ST and LT Disability Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K enrollment, etc.

Requirements:


  • At least three years related Payroll administration experience in an organization with 75-200 EE’s.

  • Strong focus on client service.

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.

  • Ability to think independently and make decisions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Collaborative approach to work.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.

  • Hands-on experience with transaction-related systems or software.

  • Must be able to work with confidential information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:


  • Fundamental Payroll Certification

  • Experience with ADP or other Payroll Software

  • Experience with multi-state payroll
