About the Role

Empowering women is at the heart of what Mom Project does both as a technology start up and with the creation of the not-for-profit Momproject.org. The mission of our inaugural initiative - RISE - is to empower moms, challenge stereotypical representation of today’s workforce, fast track tech career advancement to higher paying, more influential roles, and to support women’s career advancement through a variety of our programs.

Our RISE program is focused on women of color, offers critical skill certificates alongside multifaceted support to overcome barriers to completion and accelerate access to greater economic opportunities. Our framework for success develops leaders who can “RISE UP” to address complex problems while effectively leading teams of the highest possible value. RISE empowers women with highly sought-after certifications and links them with employers committed to helping moms balance parenthood and careers, building a better, more diversified workplace.

What you’ll do:

  • Research, prepare and propose plans related to RISE
  • Create and manage project workflows
  • Contribute as a strategic thinker to building an unparalleled program
  • Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Assist in conducting assessments to identify strategies for executing a project plan; track progress toward outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of operational goals
  • Apply Diversity & Inclusion knowledge in program execution

The skills and qualities you’ll need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of program management experience, preferably with 2+ years in a start-up, high volume, or high growth environment
  • 2+ years building and executing programs focused on underrepresented communities
  • Experience coordinating D&I programming in an organization where scaling for growth has been a feature
  • Ability to effectively engage and influence
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing project plans involving vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Hands-on “roll-up-the-sleeves” mentality
  • Ability to adapt and manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and adjust strategy as needed
