What we’re looking for:

We’re searching for a sharp, energetic, and curious social science professional eager to grow their research career. In this role, you’ll be a pivotal member of the WerkLabs team supporting critical research projects and driving deliverables as WerkLabs continues to grow. You’ll have ample opportunity to learn and grow in this role as you dive deeper into the application of behavioral science research!.


Key responsibilities:

As a key member of the WerkLabs team, you’ll support the development, execution, and delivery of critical research projects to ensure that we are providing WerkLabs’ clients with the utmost value. You will also assist with the execution of critical industry research, to create thought leadership on critical topics related to work. 


  • Program and administer surveys using our online survey tool, performing quality checks and troubleshooting as needed

  • Analyze survey and syndicated data and determine noteworthy findings or data patterns

  • Conduct 1:1 employee interviews (external) using a semi-structured open ended approach

  • Create presentations, summaries, one-pagers, and additional collateral to bring to life research findings and give key stakeholders a deeper understanding of information

  • Plays an active role in qualitative and quantitative research projects including helping gather key assets, analyzing the data and creating presentations

  • Day-to-day coordination and management of research priorities for the WerkLabs team

  • Assist with the development of processes and procedures to maintain efficient operations and administrative systems.

  • Facile with scheduling software, excellent note-taking abilities including real-time notes and transcription of interviews

  • Comfortable asking questions to clarify requirements, propose alternate solutions, and further develop the deliverable

  • Execute research projects under the direct guidance and with the assistance of a research manager

  • Other research and administrative duties, as necessary

Requirements for Candidacy


  • 1-2 years of research experience, ideally in behavioral science/psychology/market research- related fields

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

  • Fanatical attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple projects to success

  • Excellent communicator and ability to work well with executives, and ability to lead and influence across multiple levels and functions of an organization

  • Comfortable asking questions to clarify requirements, propose alternate solutions, and further develop the deliverable

  • Adaptable, able to manage dynamic requirements

  • Independent and self-driven

  • Ability to handle multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities

  • High energy, positive and communicative

  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and interest in learning new software tools
