What you'll do:

General Project Management


  • Manage projects throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Aid in developing comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals

  • Coordinate with various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.

  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.

  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.

  • Have a strong grasp on project finances and create reports

  • Strong ability to coach the team on Agile practices and communicate the workflows and principles to the stakeholders.

  • Establishing and refining feedback loops with customers and stakeholders. Develop intelligent tools for collecting and aggregating customer feedback.

  • Amplify impact and velocity by coordinating with cross-functional internal stakeholders

  • Analyze data to help product management make better-informed decisions

  • Manage and facilitate internal and external communication

 Technical Project Management


  • Help run the software development planning and delivery process

  • Responsible for actively engaging with cross-functional technical and product management teams to prioritize tasks/work effort by understanding scope, requirements, level of effort, and pipeline, and clarify trade offs when changes are made to that plan

  • Create and monitor active work, backlog, priorities and risks to team members, internal and external stakeholders

  • Organize & coordinate team ceremonies such as Release Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning & Retrospective. 

  • Manage project documentation and report on project status, backlog, and resources

  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

  • Implement, measure and report on key performance indicators and ensure project dashboards are up to date.

  • Adhere to enterprise-wide project management methodology standards

  • Providing assistance in building multiple high-performing Agile teams

 Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience required with experience leading and managing cross-functional agile teams

  • Experience managing teams that are co-located or distributed

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Good understanding of technology for solutioning and to help coordinate with technical teams 

  • Self-motivated to learn new tools, technology, & process, and be forward compatible. 

  • Agile experience

Preferred:


  • Background or experience in operational or process-heavy roles

  • Working knowledge of structured query languages for reporting such as MySQL

  • Experience working in a startup environment
