Accountant

Our Customer is a tech real-estate marketplace company with a portfolio of the largest and most vibrant real estate and home-related brands on the web and mobile. The company’s brands focus on all stages of the home lifecycle: renting, buying, selling, financing and home improvement. We are seeking an Accountant on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.


Responsibilities:

• Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in area of specialty is preferred
• 5-7 years of related experience
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
