A rigorous vetting process is followed for every candidate that involves the following criteria and steps:

Minimum of five years of relevant work experience

Successful completion of education and employment verification as well as federal background check via our partners at GoodHire

How do you match talent with opportunities?

Prior to any matching, we first develop a comprehensive understanding of the objectives of both our customer and talent. Once those are firmly established and we set out to create a match, we leverage both the “science” of the technology within our platform and the “art” of our talent calibration process to identify the candidates within our talent network that are best-suited for the opportunity. After confirming the identified candidates’ interest in the work, we present our customer with a curated selection of professionals who are ready, qualified, and excited to work.

What fees does The Mom Project charge?

Companies establish budgets for all projects. All payment is processed through The Mom Project and is equal to the total project cost inclusive of a service fee

Where do you find your network of talent?

Many members of our platform find us through word of mouth from friends and family. Additionally, we’ve established strong relationships with top universities, professional organizations and parenting communities to create broader awareness.

How do I pay The Mom Project?

Once a company selects a job candidate for a project, payment is securely transferred to The Mom Project via check or credit card and the business receives a confirmation and receipt for the transaction.

What size companies is The Mom Project appropriate for?

Companies of all sizes. We enjoy working with small businesses, Fortune 500 enterprises and everyone in between.

Does all talent work remotely?

Nope! When a company provides us with their talent needs, they can specify if the work is primarily in office, remote or a combination of the two.

Does The Mom Project get involved in managing the work and performance of talent?

No. The Mom Project’s goal is to match you with vetted, highly skilled candidates that are highly capable of delivering great work. The Mom Project’s network of talent is completely managed by their respective employers or hiring managers. We are here to assist and answer any questions or issues since it is our goal to ensure you have a great, long-term relationship with The Mom Project.

Am I able to have the talent sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before getting started on my project or assignment?

Absolutely. Many of our clients choose to do so.


How much does it cost to use The Mom Project?

The Mom Project is absolutely free for all talent.

Are the work opportunities on the site legitimate?

Yes! We thoroughly vet all client proposals before ever presenting our talent with an opportunity.

How long will it take for me to get matched with a work opportunity?

Our team is always signing up new companies and working to match you with an exciting opportunity.

How much can I make?

We will bring you exciting opportunities that match your experience and skill sets. Before we ever share your information with a potential employer we will first share with you the job scope, timing and compensation to confirm your interest to make sure you feel the compensation is reflective of the value of your time.

When do I get paid?

A talent manager will contact you with details once you’re matched with an opportunity and all payment is processed through and will be dispersed as a direct deposit into your checking account.

Do I have to be a woman to get accepted into The Mom Project?

Currently our recruitment focus is with women. That said, The Mom Project is an equal opportunity platform that welcomes any person who identifies with our mission and goals.

What happens if there is a dispute between me and the company I am working for?

Engage your talent manager at The Mom Project as soon as possible so that we can help you and the company work toward a solution.

What should I do if a company asks to work with me outside of The Mom Project?

If a company asks you to work outside of The Mom Project, please let us know immediately by sending an email to your talent manager. Any attempt to circumvent The Mom Project will result in culpable party/parties being banned from the platform indefinitely.

Once I confirm I’m interested in a project, what happens?

We’ll send your information to the company. From there, they can reach out to you directly to interview you and potentially award you the work.

Will I find out if I didn’t get awarded for a project I expressed interest in?
