Job description

About Us

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a 501(c)(3) membership network of 1,300 senior executive women leaders ranging from VP to CEO in health care companies. Our mission is to connect and convene senior executive women from across the health care industry to create meaningful cross-sector relationships, expand their presence in board and C-level roles, and harness their collective power to improve the industry.

About the Role

The Membership and Sponsorship Coordinator plays a key role in our mission to support senior executive women leaders in health care. The role is customer-focused and supports two departments working closely with our members to help our members succeed.

This is a part time role seeking someone available for 3-4 days/week. The role will provide administrative, project management, data tracking, and planning support for the Membership and Sponsorship teams. There is a lot of variety and member contact in the role, which is ideal for someone who is looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

Day to day may include:

  1. Serve as point of contact and responder to inbound member requests via email and phone regarding membership, events, and other inquiries.
  2. Assist the Membership team in reporting and creating deliverables for the board and committees.
  3. Use our Salesforce database to track member updates, and help process requests for membership dues renewal where additional assistance is needed beyond the self-service web requests.
  4. Assist the Sponsorship team in registering and renewing members for events and various activities.
  5. Assist in managing various projects related to membership benefit execution, including compiling board candidates for opportunities, and helping on other projects which further our mission.

Qualifications and Attributes

  1. Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of work experience
  2. Mission-driven and service oriented
  3. High level of attention to detail and great organizational skills
  4. Talented in quickly adapting and understanding technology and CRM systems and practices (Salesforce experience a huge plus!)
  5. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in verbal and in written communications, using judgment and discretion to interact effectively with various audiences
  6. Capacity to work autonomously, implementing, monitoring and delivering on work plans
  7. Flexible, energetic and ambitious self-starter

We seek to model the diversity of the members we serve. As such, we strongly urge applications from all interested people without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.

About the work environment

We are a team of 8 supportive colleagues; everyone pitches in and we all truly enjoy working with one another. We have high expectations of each other and thrive in an environment centered around excellence and professionalism. We believe in flexibility and autonomy, and our culture is ambitious, positive, and results-oriented. We pride ourselves on being a flexible workplace that trusts our team members to do high quality work in a timely manner.

Our staff has been fully remote since 2020 with a small office in Arlington, VA. This position can be performed from anywhere in the United States. Our headquarters are located in Arlington, VA and for local candidates, there is office space available for in-office work. Some travel (up to 2x per year) will be required for this position, either to the Arlington, VA office or around the continental US for in-person events. Reliable access to secure, high-quality internet service is required. All applicants must be willing to accommodate a US Eastern time zone schedule of operations.

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.
