Job Description:

  • 4+ years of core Java/J2EE coding.
  • Strong in Microservices architecture and design principles.
  • Performs hands-on coding using Java/J2EE.
  • Strong understanding of any public cloud environment, web servers, application containers, and distributed system.
  • Good understanding of NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Hive, and MongoDB.
  • Very good programming and problem-solving skills.
  • Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications.
  • Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code.
  • JUnit Test and debug new applications and updates.
  • Maintain up-to-date code documentation.
  • Participating in code reviews.

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kibana,
  • Ability to mentor other team members offshore.
  • STEM background is preferred but not a must.
  • Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
  • Remote (within the US) and In-person flexibility are available
