We are seeking a Product Strategist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role will work with senior stakeholders to turn market insights and signals into insights that can be used to develop and implement local, regional and global strategies to achieve the business and product goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the creation of future goals and KPIs in alignment with the global and regional strategies and lead the strategic vision across the relevant areas of the product.
- Leverage data to uncover key insights about the company's position in a given market and effectively communicate these to product and business leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Provide sophisticated research and analysis on market trends, customer behaviors, and opportunity sizing, to create data-driven business cases for product investment decisions, spanning build, buy, and partner choices.
- Conduct thorough market analysis including market segmentation and opportunity sizing.
- Present insights and recommendations to Product Managers and other leaders across the company and partner with them to influence product roadmaps.
- Partner with Corporate Development to identify new M&A targets, conduct analysis to size growth opportunities, and develop a thesis.
- Effectively present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executives, product and business leaders, and cross-functional partners, in order to influence product roadmap decisions.
- Develop and maintain the role of a “trusted advisor” with product leaders and cross-functional partners to drive long-term impact.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Privacy, and Communications teams to ensure business cases and recommendations are robust, and that relevant considerations are accounted for.
- Lead strategy projects at a consulting firm or on a corporate strategy team.
- Collaborate with partners across cross-functional teams such as User Research, Analytics, or Product Marketing to develop a picture of the product ecosystem.
- Develop and lead ongoing market landscape insights and reporting for product and business leaders.
- Business strategy and development, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and program management.
Must-Haves:
- 5 years of progressive experience.
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to collaborate with other business units and senior stakeholders.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in a decision-making/strategic management role within a large organization.
- Prior Product Management experience is a plus.
- Ability to structure and solve market problems to influence leadership and product decisions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Management, Finance, or Economics-related subject.
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% Remote.
