Job description

Our Customer is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners, defense, space, and security systems, and service provider of aftermarket support. As America’s biggest manufacturing exporter, the company supports airlines and U.S. and allied government customers in more than 150 countries. Their products and tailored services include commercial and military aircraft, satellites, weapons, electronic and defense systems, launch systems, advanced information and communication systems, and performance-based logistics and training.

We are seeking a Photographer on a contract basis to help support our customer's business needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Performs photography retouching in a studio, field, or scientific environment and high visibility events.
  • Operates conventional and specialized equipment to capture and process a range of images for still, instrumentation, or scientific imaging.
  • Fabricates camera mounts, cases, and other support equipment to capture images and protect equipment.
  • Defines image requirements and plans photographic events.
  • Apply knowledge of lighting theories and principles (e.g., angle, polarizing, filtration, color temperature) to illuminate the subject artwork.
  • Follow process standards for composite retouching.
  • Collaborate with team members in supporting image processing and product delivery.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously with dynamically changing priorities.

Must Haves:

  • 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop.
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Lightroom.
  • Experience with composite retouching.
  • Experience using color channels, masking, lighting/contrast, and blending.
  • Experience supporting image processing and product delivery.
  • Strong and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with 360/panoramic photography.
  • Web development knowledge (HTML/CSS/XML/JS).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is 100% remote.
