Job description

Our Customer is the world's leading music company that owns and operates a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. They identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant on a contract basis to help support their business needs. This role is a hybrid setup with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote at our Customer’s New York, NY location.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide administrative assistance to one of our customer's record label, Forecast and Impulse marketing teams. Duties include:
  • Help with Production, D2C, video, and creative management
  • Maintain record label's release schedule, roster schedule, and priorities documents
  • Monthly project emails to central teams, wrap up/what’s to come
  • Monthly blast to external partners
  • Weekly agendas for: Projects Meetings, Label Meetings, etc.
  • Take notes in meetings
  • Track all opportunities where we put forth artists
  • Manage record label's Wiki site
  • Tour date tracker
  • Promo tracker
  • Key dates document
  • Key partners/creatives documents

Must Haves:

  • Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of companies with which we do business
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Flexible – able to adjust to changing priorities, and able to multi-task under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Mac and PC experience (proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Very strong typing skills
  • Internet savvy
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Able to work in a very fast and energetic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Must also demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is a hybrid setup with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote at our Customer’s New York, NY location.

The salary range for this position is: $20 - $25 per hour
