Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a management consulting firm specializing in Strategy, Organizational Design, Supply Chain, Innovation, and Customer Experience! They are looking for a team of Part-Time Grant Reviewers for four-to-six weeks to assess and score grant applications for a federal client. The Grant Reviewers will review applications, make qualitative assessments, document their work through scores and comments, and work together in teams to provide additional analysis as requested by the client. The Grant Reviewer will support a team at a management consulting firm specializing in Strategy, Organizational Design, Supply Chain, Innovation, and Customer Experience.
Description of Tasks:
- Critical analysis: Review grant applications to make qualitative and quantitative assessments on a given set of criteria using a predetermined scoring system
- Synthesis: Extract critical information and key themes from large blocks of text
- Writing: Summarize assessments through succinct, well-written comments that explain and justify your reasoning
- Problem-solving: Identify common issues and propose solutions that improve the team’s efficiency
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues to calibrate your understanding of the scoring criteria and system, as well as conduct additional analysis of individual applications and/or the pool of applicants
- Perform other duties as assigned by project leadership
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, policy, humanities, or related field preferred
- Master’s degree in business, policy, humanities, or related field strongly preferred
- Prior professional services experience preferred
- Prior experience with federal government grant application review preferred
- Prior research experience preferred
- Prior experience with innovation and entrepreneurship preferred
Additional Information:
- U.S. work authorization required
- Must be able to meet a minimum threshold for reviews completed per day and per week
- Candidates must be available at least 20 hours per week; candidates who can work 40 hours per week will be prioritized
- Work hours are flexible but must be available to communicate and join meetings with project leadership and colleagues at agreed upon times M-F between 9am-5pm EST
