Whippany, NJ Hybrid: Tuesday-Wednesday in office, Mon-Thur-Fri Remote

Responsibilities:

  • In line with brand strategy, establish objectives for marketing activity/consumer promotions (Free Standing Inserts (FSIs), Instantly Redeemable Coupons (IRCs), Shopper Marketing) and lead execution, achieving on-time implementation of key tactics
  • Work with Internal Partners/third-party Agencies on creative development and post-analysis to identify best practices
  • Analyze the business and competitive environment, using data and sound judgment to make recommendations for ways to better meet short and long-term business goals, as well as identify insights that can lead to new business-building ideas
  • Lead weekly/monthly state of the business tracking and reporting and manages communication to Management and cross-functional Teams
  • Work in partnership with Finance and Product Supply to assist in the monthly management of brand Profit and Loss Statements (P&Ls) and production forecasts to support base business and new product initiatives Responsible for marketing budget management
  • Support the Team in developing annual marketing plans that will enable the brands to meet their volume targets, share targets and overall business objectives
  • Work as the brand lead for packaging/labeling and website maintenance and provides support for e-commerce activities in line with brand objectives and marketing plans
  • Assist in the development of market research projects by identifying information gaps and working with the Marketing Team and MRD manager to recommend and execute plans to fill the information voids
  • Serve as marketing project lead for product renovations including channel-specific products, labeling changes, graphics updates, cost savings projects, and the execution of updated package graphics
  • Gain a strong understanding of the medical, regulatory, legal, manufacturing, and retail environments for the brands as they relate to key brand initiatives. Build relationships with key contacts in each of these areas

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree
  • Action-oriented/drives results, learning and change agility, plans and aligns, collaborates, customer focus, builds effective teams, cultivates innovation, drives stakeholder engagement, effectively manages suppliers
  • Financial management skills to critically and objectively assess programs/investments vs results
  • Ability to streamline operational processes and drive efficiency through the use of technology
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Superior analytical ability, assessing different models and related outputs
  • Experience with business forecasting
  • Proven ability to assess and react to complex data points, distilling information down to actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to engage in positive/productive debate with the leaders of key internal constituent groups
  • Ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, including identifying key milestones and delivering against deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA highly desirable) plus 3 years of experience in a similar or related role, ideally in a Consumer Product Goods (CPG)/healthcare environment
