Part-Time Wholesale Sales Representative (100% Remote)

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a mom-founded footwear company based in Houston, TX. They are looking for a motivated Mom who wants to help put comfortable heels on feet! They have designed a new heel made from sneaker material and are looking to add a sales representative to their team.

Finally, heels that are more than comfortable - they feel like sneakers because they are! The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, demonstrating and selling products to potential buyers, and negotiating sales contracts with clients. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and feels comfortable with cold outreach.

Core responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities to fuel pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, and social media, through contacting and qualifying all in-bound web leads, and through execution of marketing campaigns
• Promote our shoes to local & national boutiques
• Effectively communicate the benefits of current offering to prospects and fully understand their needs before scheduling follow-up meetings
• Closely collaborates with team to achieve sales goals
• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, industry trends, and competition in the mobility analytics industry
• Achieve monthly quotas of sourced opportunities, and provide regular reports on achievements

The ideal candidate has:

• Existing relationships with other fashion brands/local boutiques
• Understanding of the wholesale sales process and dynamics
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
• Interested in taking our footwear to markets, national meetings, etc.
• Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual
• Previous footwear experience preferred
