Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.

We are seeking an Account Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This position serves as the primary day-to-day client partner and internal lead for creative development work, functioning at the level of an external agency Account Supervisor.

This role partners closely with the centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to move work from approved

scope through final delivery—ensuring clear briefs, tight communication, strong collaboration, and on-time, on-strategy output across multiple channels (ex. email, PPT presentations, video, collateral, graphics, and other creative assets).

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships and driving collaboration
  • Lead client discussions to uncover business goals, audience insights, success metrics, and requirements
  • Manage client feedback and revisions, translating input into clear direction for internal teams
  • Set expectations for timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and approvals while proactively managing risks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Design, Copy, Motion, Project Management, and Operations, to deliver high-quality outputs
  • Support development of creative assets, including email campaigns, presentations, video/motion, and print/digital collateral
  • Ensure creative briefs are clear, complete, and aligned with project objectives
  • Facilitate client reviews, consolidate feedback, and drive next steps to maintain momentum
  • Advocate for quality standards while balancing client needs and creative excellence
  • Manage intake and execution of work, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, and timelines
  • Track project status, ensuring milestones and approvals are met
  • Identify and manage out-of-scope requests, coordinating with stakeholders to adjust expectations or scope
  • Ensure final deliverables meet quality standards and are properly packaged for handoff

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of account management experience in agency or in-house creative environments
  • Experience managing multi-channel creative development across digital, print, and motion formats
  • Strong client management skills, including briefing, presenting, and managing feedback
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable creative direction
  • Experience managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables in fast-paced environments
  • Strong client-first mindset with the ability to challenge and guide stakeholders
  • Clear and precise communication in briefs, feedback, and next steps

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in regulated or highly matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with creative production workflows and processes
  • Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into creative direction
  • Experience with workflow tools such as Workfront
  • Experience using generative AI tools
