Job description
Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking an Account Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This role serves as the primary day-to-day client partner and internal lead for creative development work, functioning at the level of an external agency Account Supervisor. This role partners closely with consumer engagement & brand, COEs (Centers of Excellence) and cross-functional teams to move work from initial request for estimate/timing through final delivery—ensuring approved scopes of work, clear briefs, tight communication, strong collaboration, and on-time, on-strategic project output across multiple channels (Ex. email, PPT presentations, video, collateral, graphics, and other creative assets).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for assigned workstreams and maintain strong client relationships
- Lead client discussions to identify business objectives, audience needs, success metrics, and project requirements
- Manage client feedback and revisions while translating input into actionable direction for internal teams
- Set and manage expectations related to timelines, deliverables, dependencies, approvals, and project risks
- Partner with Creative, Motion, Design, Copy, Project Management, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality creative assets
- Support delivery of multi-channel creative work, including email campaigns, digital communications, executive presentations, video and motion assets, collateral, and sales support materials
- Develop and maintain clear project briefs, including objectives, audience, deliverables, timelines, approvals, and required inputs
- Facilitate client reviews, consolidate feedback, and drive project next steps to ensure timely execution
- Advocate for client needs while maintaining creative quality standards and strategic alignment
- Collaborate with internal teams on project estimates, statements of work, scope approvals, timelines, and resource coordination
- Maintain visibility into project status and ensure milestones and approvals are completed on schedule
- Identify out-of-scope requests and coordinate scope updates or expectation resets when needed
- Ensure final deliverables meet brand standards and are properly packaged for handoff
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of account management experience within a creative agency or in-house agency environment
- Experience managing multi-channel creative development projects, including email, presentations, video/motion, collateral, and digital/print assets
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience briefing creative teams, presenting work, managing feedback, and guiding revision cycles
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with creative, motion, project management, and operations teams
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to translate business objectives into actionable creative direction
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong facilitation and cross-functional leadership skills
- Strong understanding of creative execution, workflows, and project delivery processes
- Ability to manage timelines, approvals, dependencies, and operational risks effectively
- Adaptability in fast-paced and evolving work environments
- Strong creative sensibility and understanding of strategic storytelling and execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within regulated or highly matrixed organizations
- Familiarity with creative workflows, production processes, review cycles, routing, versioning, and legal/compliance considerations
- Ability to interpret performance insights and translate findings into creative direction
- Experience using workflow tools such as Workfront
- Experience using Generative AI tools such as OpenAI
