They are currently seeking a Maternity Leave coverage Account Manager.


There is a potential for this temporary position to be hired as full-time at the end of the term.


Hybrid schedule is Tuesday-Thursday in-office, and Monday & Friday remote

  • Office Location: Minneapolis, MN


Responsibilities:


• Act as a liaison between our partners and Target, ensuring first class communication

• Lead performance analytics and action needs for a successful BU team

  • Communicate weekly reports with insights to manufacturer partners
  • Communicate weekly sales reports with insights & trends with BA to Target
  • Drive ongoing vendor analysis on assortment performance and suggest/execute ideation, improvement, or trends that lead to business growth
  • Key time frame and key project initiative analysis
  • Objective and goals analysis and reporting

• Lead process on all new vendor set-up on behalf of our partners with BA

  • Immediately raising awareness of on boarding concerns
  • Adjusting service value to level of expertise needed by vendor
  • Incudes factory onboarding and expertise of proactive leadership with our vendors to streamline the process for BIC to Target

• Drive pdd process from factory onboarding support to development in miro/spark to negotiation/pcn support of sales strategies

  • Be Time And Action lead

• Lead sales influence and initiatives

  • Bridge the goals and objectives of all manufacturers with analytical support/validation, ideation, and action
  • Working with Sales Strategist and creative team to build merchandising solutions and promotional ideas for our vendor partners, and to present visual and analytical influence to Target
  • Work with your Sales Strategist on executing the multi-channel strategy
  • Lead process of promotional and owned brand calendars with BA
  • Manage special projects and/or deep dive projects to support goals and growth of partners
  • Lead line review process for all manufacturers in portfolio

• Lead account management every day operations/supply chain

  • Manage all skus and lead forecasting, inventory flow and reporting efforts with BA
  • Reconcile purchase orders for accuracy and invoicing purposes
  • Initiate Comp shopping and competitive analysis, bringing insights and recommendations

• Ensure delivery of creative assets to vendor and/or Target

• Be the Lead problem solver & go-to expert for manufacturing and internal partners

• Mentor BA in their support role


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a retail account manager or business analyst working with Target.
  • Strong understanding of Target systems including POL & VIQ
  • High Energy, Driven, Positive Attitude
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Understand industry trends and application to business planning
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple lines and daily tasks
