Job description
We are is an Atlanta-based cause partnership agency focused on developing relationships between companies and nonprofits. We are looking for a part time, remote account manager to support one or more of our national nonprofit clients as we assist them in securing new corporate funding for their mission. This work is project-based, and hours can vary week to week. This assignment would be perfect for someone seeking high impact work in a part time capacity. While schedules are flexible, candidates must have good availability during the business day to participate in client and team calls and meetings as needed.
The most successful candidate will have experience working in a nonprofit environment securing or managing corporate partnerships. Years of experience may vary, but experience working directly on nonprofit/corporate partnerships is essential. Nonprofit business development and/or marketing experience and demonstrated success managing projects is required. This role supports the project team and senior team members and excellent organizational skills are required. Experience with Salesforce or other large CRM to manage prospect lists and outreach is strongly preferred. We seek self-starters with strong organizational and communication skills who can independently manage projects while also collaborating effectively with a virtual team of other cause partnership professionals.
Responsibilities could include:
- Assist in developing strategies to grow new partnerships on behalf of national nonprofit clients
- Support senior strategists with meeting facilitation, research and materials review, manage timelines and account teamwork processes, participate in client meetings
- Lead identification and research on partnership prospects and prepare prospect lists, act as account team lead on outreach logistics and reporting
- Lead prospect meetings and act as a day-to-day contact for key projects
- Collaborate with the partnership development manager and the outreach team on prospect identification, outreach scheduling, execution, and follow-up
