Job description
Client Experience Manager
Part-Time • 10 hrs/week • Fully Remote • Contractor-to-Employee
$45-65/hour
Application Note:
When you apply, please share a brief story in your "why me" section about a time you caught something before it became a problem for a client. Include the phrase “one small detail” somewhere in your response.
Seeking an accounting professional who is as client-obsessed as they are detail- oriented — someone who catches things before they become problems, takes ownership, and genuinely loves being the person clients trust most with their business finances. As the Client
Experience Manager, you will own client relationships from onboarding through ongoing monthly closes and ad hoc projects, bringing both accounting depth and a real passion for client experience to everything you do.
Does This Sound Familiar?
- You’re the person who catches the error everyone else missed — and you catch it before it becomes anyone’s problem.
- You’ve always been the one people come to when something needs to get done right.
- You love the idea of owning a portfolio of clients and treating each one like they’re your most important account.
- You’ve maybe dreamed of running your own bookkeeping firm, but you don’t love the marketing side of things — you just want to do great work.
- Systems, processes, and tech tools genuinely excite you. When you find a smarter way to do something, you can’t wait to implement it.
- You’re energized by the idea of working at the intersection of accounting, client experience, and operations — and you’d love to be part of building something great.
- The idea of AI-powered workflows doesn’t intimidate you — it excites you.
The Position
- You’ll work fully remotely with a flexible schedule, we just ask that you make yourself for client calls that are scheduled in advance.
- We’re tech-forward and always looking to improve how we do things — your ideas will be heard and implemented.
- This role grows with you — starting as a contractor and transitioning to a part-time employee for the right fit, with great perks along the way.
