Accounting Manager (100% Remote)

We are seeking an Accounting Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This role provides support for the month-end and quarterly close. The contractor will work across operational areas of the department, perform ad-hoc analysis, and support audits. The role requires a seasoned accounting professional who can hit the ground running, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the month-end and quarterly close processes
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support audits and special projects
• Update files and processes to automate or improve efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolutions on accounting issues
• Provide clear communication and timely escalation of issues as needed

Qualifications

• Workday experience, CPA certification, and technology company background
• 7+ years accounting experience and publicly traded company experience
• Proficiency with Zuora and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Big 4 public accounting experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG)
• Ability to lead month-end/quarterly close, perform ad-hoc analysis, support audits, and drive process improvements
• Excellent communication skills with flexibility to work PST hours and extended periods during close
