Accounting Manager

Title: Accounting Manager

Location: 100% Remote

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience

Must-Have: Experiencing managing a staff with assigned client accounting projects

Our client is Financial Solution Advisors, a people-driven regional CPA Firm in Jacksonville, FL, seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who is a highly motivated, take-charge, positive team player to join their growing firm.

1. Responsibilities:Experienced with leading and managing a staff with assigned client accounting projects at varying complexity levels for a diverse group of clients
2. 5+ years of recent accounting experience with cloud-based accounting systems and apps
3. Ability to streamline and recommend client accounting workflow and software stack
4. Perform and review month-end close process to deliver financial statements to clients within specified time frame
5. Heavy accrual accounting experience a must
6. Provide guidance, training, and support to junior level team members

1. Requirements:3+ years of experience managing a team
2. Strong technical skills, with working knowledge of QBO, Xero as well as apps such as BILL, Shopify, Slack, Keeper and Expensify
3. Ability to follow firm policies and procedures and to meet deadlines and budgets
4. Highly self-motivated
5. Ability to balance the needs of multiple accounts- multi-task experts only
6. Professionalism with strong oral and written communication skills
7. Resourceful and well-organized with high attention to detail
