Revenue Accounting Manager | ASC 606 (Remote)

We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager | ASC 606 on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the organization's general accounting function while remaining hands-on with day-to-day accounting activities. This role is responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

The Accounting Manager will evaluate and enhance accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. This individual will partner cross-functionally with finance and business leaders to support organizational goals, drive process improvements, and deliver timely financial insights.

This position requires a strong blend of leadership and technical accounting expertise. The successful candidate is comfortable managing priorities, mentoring team members, and stepping into senior accountant responsibilities—including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting workpapers—as business needs require.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong hands-on experience in Revenue Accounting, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) within a public company or complex corporate accounting environment.
• Ability to perform both Accounting Manager responsibilities and hands-on Senior Accountant duties, including preparing accounting workpapers, as business needs require.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to identify process improvements, implement internal controls, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
