Job description

Are you a strong Managing Director or General Manager who motivates people, understands numbers & sales, and shines most when leading operations?

You'll be stepping into a great opportunity: We have been around for 20 years and were acquired 6 months ago. We're ready for you to lead growth and operations.

Not Required: CPA or prior finance job. Consultants and other B2B professionals are encouraged to apply.

The performance outcomes are:

  1. Increase revenue and free cash flow
  2. Maintain an average employee NPS score of 8 or above in quarterly anonymous surveys
  3. Quarterly: increase the soft and hard skills of the team

Key objectives to help reach those outcomes are:

  1. Streamline operations
  2. Manage in-person and remote resources in the US and abroad
  3. Recruit, retain, and nurture top people
  4. Oversee lead generation and sales of accounting and finance plans to owners of businesses with $1M to $30M in revenue

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Strong people management skills: provide transparent feedback, create an equitable playing field, and run a process to develop an A+ team
  2. Implement the core values
  3. Client Experience: 8+ years of experience managing B2B client accounts from sales to execution and overseeing the executing team
  4. Manage vendor relationships so they enable business goals
  5. Have led and hired offshore resources
  6. 5+ years leading teams of 20 to 50 people
  7. Expertise in growing a B2B professional services business
  8. Comfortable with up to 5 hours of reference checks once we've narrowed down to the top 1 to 2 candidates. We'll ask for 10 to 16 references and pick from that pool of people.

Sample of Responsibilities:

  1. Work effectively with CPAs, although tax expertise is not required
  2. Solicit feedback and buy-in from shy accountant types

Compensation & Benefits:

  1. Salary Structure: Base + Bonus
  2. Performance bonus is based on the revenue and free cash flow growth at year's end
  3. For example, if you increase free cash flow by 10x, your bonus could be 8x the base salary.
  4. There is no cap on your cash compensation
