Job description

Title: Accounting - Onboarding & Implementation
Location: 100% Remote
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience
Must-Have: Experience onboarding new accounting clients, preferably within a CPA firm

Our client is a people-driven regional CPA Firm in Jacksonville, FL, seeking an experienced Accounting - Onboarding & Implementation individual who is a highly motivated, take-charge, positive team player to join their growing firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced with onboarding new accounting clients, preferably within a CPA firm
  • Leading assigned client accounting projects at varying complexity levels for a diverse group of clients
  • Ability to take lead and initiative on new clients as they onboard
  • Setting up new accounting files within Xero or QBO
  • Ability to streamline and recommend client accounting workflow and software stack
  • Perform and review month-end close process to deliver financial statements to clients within specified time frame
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of recent accounting experience with cloud-based accounting systems and apps
  • Strong technical skills, with working knowledge of QBO, Xero and QB Desktop accounting systems, as well as apps such as Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify
  • Ability to follow firm policies and procedures and to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Highly self-motivated, ability to take a project and run with it
  • Ability to balance the needs of multiple accounts- multi-task experts only
  • Professionalism with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Resourceful and well-organized with high attention to detail
