About this role:
We are looking to hire someone full or part time, but they need a committed 30 hours per week or more.

As we continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department, including generating court-style reports and over seeing financials.
**Position Overview:**
Detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join finance team. This position will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks and assisting with the preparation of court-style reports and monthly income and expense reports for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and brokerage statement reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in a court style accounting format which we will train you on.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate court-style reports and documentation as required for legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Use and be proficient with Quickbooks online
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quicken and QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with generating court-style reports or working with legal documentation is a plus.
