We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote in EST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Enter high-volume invoices (PO and Non-PO related) into Oracle AP (experience with Oracle is a strong plus).
- Perform GL coding and ensure accurate PO matching for invoice entry.
- Process credits and maintain accurate records in AP systems.
- Use Excel (intermediate functions such as VLOOKUP) for data entry, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Contact vendors to resolve discrepancies and collect on negative balances.
- Support the team with ad hoc AP tasks and projects as requested by management.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Ensure attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to accounting standards in all tasks.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in high-volume AP invoice entry (PO and Non-PO related expenses).
- Strong accounting background with knowledge of GL coding.
- Proven ability to meet daily production goals.
- “Go-getter” attitude with initiative, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable communicating with vendors by phone and email.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Quick learner with excellent information retention skills.
- Flexibility to handle frequent changes in tasks and priorities.
Preferred:
- Experience with the Oracle AP module.
- Prior experience in project-based AP support.
