We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.


The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in supporting the team by managing high-volume invoice processing, vendor communications, and flexible project-related tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability to frequent changes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, a quick learner, and enjoys taking initiative to drive results.



Responsibilities:

  • Enter large volumes of PO and Non-PO invoices and credits into the Oracle AP module (experience with Oracle is a plus).
  • Ensure accurate GL coding and PO matching for Non-PO and PO invoices.
  • Maintain daily production goals for invoice entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Perform reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Contact vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and collect on negative balances.
  • Work with Excel to prepare reports and perform intermediate functions such as VLOOKUP.
  • Retain information quickly and adapt to shifting tasks throughout the day.
  • Support team projects and assist with additional duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in high-volume AP processing (PO and Non-PO invoices).
  • Accounting background with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive “go-getter” attitude, with the ability to ask the right questions and take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate functions (VLOOKUP).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work on different tasks throughout the day.


Preferred:

  • Experience with the Oracle AP module.
  • Prior exposure to project-based AP support.
