Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid environment, working both independently and collaboratively with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and resolve account discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and accounts receivable transactions.
  2. Create and submit invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  3. Monitor delinquent accounts, contacting account holders to request payment and resolving issues.
  4. Maintain and update customer files with changes such as names, addresses, mergers, or other key details.
  5. Create and maintain spreadsheets to track financial data and generate status reports as needed.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to communicate changes in customer information.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall financial operations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with internal teams and customers.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with experience in managing and analyzing large datasets.
  3. Prior experience with accounting software (Oracle/NetSuite experience is a plus).
  4. Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach to resolving account issues.
