The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a leading baby registry, e-commerce, and content platform for growing families, who is seeking a contract Ad Operations Specialist to join their team!
100% Remote
This role will report to the Head of Revenue Operations.
Our client is seeking an Ad Operations Specialist with hands-on experience launching and managing digital advertising campaigns across onsite channels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns, work directly in ad servers and order management systems, troubleshoot delivery, and dig into the data behind campaign performance
You’ll manage direct media campaigns across a suite of advertising products, oversee inventory and campaign operations, and own reporting that helps the Partnerships team understand performance. You’ll collaborate closely with Partnerships while working cross-functionally with Design, Growth Marketing, Content/Editorial, and Finance/Accounting.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Own the end-to-end operational execution of onsite digital media campaigns, from campaign setup and launch through optimization, monitoring, and wrap-up.
- Launch and manage campaigns within ad servers and order management systems, ensuring campaigns are set up accurately and delivered according to client expectations.
- Manage digital advertising inventory across a range of ad products, including display, social, email, content, and video.
- Monitor campaign delivery and performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify solutions to ensure campaigns serve accurately and efficiently.
- Take ownership of monthly campaign reporting and benchmark updates, providing accurate insights into inventory performance across categories and partners.
- Own the relationship with, and operation of, Boostr as a CRM and BI tool, including internal support tickets and inventory management.
- Maintain thorough documentation of ad operations processes and clearly communicate expectations, timelines, and potential solutions to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Serve as a data and reporting partner to the Partnerships team, pulling and consolidating information from multiple data sources for partner-facing reporting.
- Partner with Accounting on monthly reporting needed for revenue recognition and month-end close.
- Support ongoing improvements to campaign workflows, processes, and operational efficiency.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ad operations, campaign execution, and inventory management within an ad tech or digital media environment.
- Proven experience launching and managing digital advertising campaigns, ideally using ad servers and order management systems.
- Experience managing inventory across a range of advertising products, including social media, email, content, video, and onsite/digital media.
- Expertise in Boostr is required for this role.
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with analytics and ad operations tools.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Sigma, Looker, and Indicative.
- Comfortable pulling, reconciling, and consolidating reporting from multiple data sources.
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of ensuring campaigns and reporting are accurate.
- Organized and able to efficiently manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities at once.
- Clear communicator who proactively keeps stakeholders informed of timing, challenges, and potential solutions.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment as we continue to grow Partnerships revenue.
