Job description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and organized Data and Administrative Assistant to support our team in various data-related tasks and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will excel in data manipulation using Excel, web data extraction, and managing communication, while contributing to overall business growth in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Manipulation: Organize, clean, and analyze data in Excel to ensure accuracy and actionable insights.
  2. Web Data Extraction: Pull relevant data from designated websites efficiently and accurately.
  3. Pivot Table Creation: Develop and maintain pivot tables for data analysis and reporting.
  4. Process Setup: Assist in establishing and documenting processes to streamline data handling and team operations.
  5. Email Management: Manage and prioritize team emails, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  6. Data Entry Support: Input and maintain accurate data across various systems and databases.
  7. Action Item Reminders: Create and manage reminders for team action items to ensure deadlines are met.
  8. Team Support: Provide general administrative support to enhance team productivity and contribute to business growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Quick learner with ability to adapt to new ideas and directions from leadership.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  3. Experience in data extraction from websites using manual or automated methods.
  4. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  6. Effective communication skills for team collaboration and email correspondence.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions and pivot tables.
  2. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) is a plus.
  3. Basic knowledge of databases and data entry software.
  4. Previous experience in an administrative or data support role is advantageous
