Description:
- Client Concierge is a pilot service where our most loyal customers hand off everyday errands and shopping to a trusted assistant.
- As a contract Administrative Assistant, you’ll act as a personal shopper and point of contact for these customers.
- You’ll learn what they need over text, curate shopping carts and pick out items within their budget and preferences, and keep them updated until the order is delivered. You’ll be accountable for owning each customer’s request end-to-end — scoping the ask, coordinating the Field operator who fulfills it, resolving any issues along the way, and making sure the customer feels like they have a dedicated personal assistant rather than a delivery service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ambiguity, has excellent taste and judgment, and is energized by delighting customers in a fast-moving, early-stage pilot.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to facilitate task inbound, curation and completion Serve as the customer’s single point of contact via messaging platform for the full lifecycle of a request, from intake through delivery and payment Scope bespoke requests by asking clarifying questions and confirming item selections and budget before any purchase is made.
- Recognize and kindly decline requests outside of scope (for example, live pets, in-home services, or transporting minors), offering an alternative where possible.
- Curate shopping carts and item selections that reflect the customer’s taste, budget, and occasion, sourcing from multiple stores or merchants to fulfill the request Coordinate directly with Field Operatives: assign the task, give clear step-by-step instructions, and relay photos, options, and confirmations back to the customer for approval
- Capture task details and customer preferences that can inform future automation and personalization of the Concierge experience Build rapport with repeat customers, remembering their preferences across requests to earn trust and drive the high repeat usage the pilot is targeting.
Requirements:
- Experience in personal shopping, concierge services, hospitality, administrative support, or another high-touch service, customer-facing role.
- Excellent written communication — warm, clear, and concise
- Strong judgment and taste, with the ability to make good calls on ambiguous, undefined requests without a set playbook
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent customers, tasks, and Field Operatives in flight at once
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, manual, early-stage pilot environment where tools and processes are evolving
