Sales Administrative Support Associate (Part-Time, 1099 Role)
Hours per week: 20-25; Hourly Rate: $20/hr
Candidates local to Lakeside, VA office preferred, however fully remote role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a Sales Administrative Support capacity. This role is designed to assist the Sales and Customer Success teams by managing lead follow-up, conducting brief qualifying discovery calls, and supporting administrative tasks such as scanning and reviewing RFQs/RFPs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude. This is a part-time, 1099 contractor position that offers remote flexibility, with preference for candidates who are local and available to come into the office if needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow up with leads across all stages of the sales cycle to ensure timely engagement.
• Conduct quick qualifying discovery calls to assess prospect needs and determine next steps.
• Review and assist in scanning and responding to RFQs and RFPs to support the sales process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the company’s CRM system.
• Support the Sales and Customer Success teams with scheduling, tracking, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and customer engagement.
Qualifications
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Quick learner with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Proficiency with basic business software; CRM experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Prior experience in sales, customer success, or administrative support is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable with basic business software (CRM experience is a bonus).
