Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking an Administrator, Global Learning Management System (LMS) on a contract basis to interface with all functions within the organization that have LMS training needs and will manage several tasks related to system configuration, content implementation, enhancements, reporting, troubleshooting, and annual system upgrades. This role is 100% remote.
What You’ll Do:
- Create, revise, maintain, and troubleshoot learning objects, course structures, programs, etc. based on requirements and business needs
- Provide recommendations on learning object configuration based on adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
- Work with key stakeholders and content designers to develop and manage the content library
- Understand the change control process and advise customers on the proper processing and configuration of training materials in the ACCS (Automated Change Control System) and the LMS to maintain the integrity of controlled content
- Configure curricula and compliance training requirements effectively and efficiently to meet all organizational and regulatory standards
- Develop LMS process maps, WI, test scripts, or other relevant documentation needed to support changes to existing functionality or procedures related to the system
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and QA testing for content and system updates
- Create comprehensive user guides and deliver training on system workflows and functionality
- Provide timely and customer-centric support for LMS tickets related to technical or content troubleshooting, curriculum implementation, navigation, or optimization inquiries
- Participate in LMS releases and support the annual Learning Management System upgrade; tasks include but are not limited to writing, reviewing, and executing test scripts; troubleshooting user issues; providing end-user training and support to drive adoption and satisfaction with new features
- Lead initiatives to improve content configuration and implement system infrastructure enhancements
- Work with management to measure, monitor, and improve LMS experience
- Manage metrics and run standard and custom reports as needed to respond to management inquiries and monitor LMS KPIs
- Serve as LMS expert for multiple stakeholders to collaborate and problem-solve addressing business learning needs
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Must Haves:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an LMS administrator
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and with the ability to learn new software systems
- Experience with SAP Success Factors and content management systems preferred
- Training experience and /or knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design preferred
- Experience working with validated systems and supporting users in a medical device company preferred
- Strong project management and data analytics skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to change without losing focus on priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to present training course material to large and small groups of people and to effectively facilitate their learning process
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed and fast-paced environment
- An understanding of regulatory, GDP (Good Documentation Practices), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements, especially pertaining to training, quality records, and process control preferred
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills for LMS management and user support
Education:
- Bachelor's degree, education, and or training degree/concentration preferred
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is 100% remote.
