Advertising Sales Account Executive

$50,000-70,000 Salary + Commission Potential

Remote- Must be local to Northern New Jersey area

Our client has an exceptional sales opportunity for the right candidate. They are a commercial real estate magazine. A longtime sales lead in the company is retiring and you will have the opportunity to take over their book of business.

About Company

A real estate magazine and website dedicated to commercial real estate in the Garden State. It is the only publication that is 100% dedicated to commercial real estate in New Jersey.

About Role

This is a remote position with occasional travel for client meetings and events, providing our team with flexibility and the ability to work without a typical commute.

To help continue growth, they are looking for an experienced account executive to sell advertising and partnerships in the monthly magazine, digital platforms and growing events calendar. Most leads are executives in the New Jersey commercial real estate industry that know their publisher, have spoken to him and have communicated a desire to advertise.


Requirements:

  • A vision to help grow New Jersey’s most exciting B2B publication
  • Generate revenue by soliciting advertising contracts via appointments, events, following up on leads, referrals and prospecting ads from other publications and sources
  • Ideas for new revenue generation
  • The ability to understand and sell both print and digital media and event sponsorships
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain accounts over time
  • An innovative, entrepreneurial approach to publishing
  • Ability to interact with C-suite executives, marketing specialists and third-party agencies
  • The successful candidate will have an attractive commission plan that pays double-digit percentages with unlimited potential. There is no cap on this plan.
