As a technical contributor supporting the modernization of People (HR) content for AI‑powered experiences. This role partners with Enablement Architecture, Digital Experience, AI Architects, Engineering, Legal, and Security to help transform unstructured HR content into AI‑ready, governed, and measurable knowledge assets.

The role focuses on hands‑on design and implementation of content optimization pipelines, metadata standards, retrieval architectures, and evaluation mechanisms that improve AI accuracy, trust, and employee self‑service outcomes.

Responsibilities:

AI-Ready Content Engineering

  • Design and support pipelines that ingest, normalize, and structure HR content for AI retrieval systems
  • Transform unstructured content such as policies, SOPs, FAQs, and guides into structured or semi-structured formats
  • Apply semantic chunking, embedding generation, and version-aware indexing techniques
  • Support deduplication, lineage tracking, and content freshness controls across content repositories

Metadata, Information Architecture & Governance

  • Apply standardized metadata schemas, tagging models, and content classification frameworks
  • Support the implementation of information architecture and authoring standards for improved consistency and machine readability
  • Translate governance decisions into enforceable system rules, validation checks, and pipeline constraints
  • Contribute to taxonomy and entity modeling to enhance search and AI retrieval accuracy

Privacy, Security & Compliance

  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and IT Security teams to ensure compliant AI content handling
  • Support implementation of role-based access controls, PII redaction, encryption, retention, and audit logging
  • Validate that AI systems return only authorized and compliant content

Retrieval Quality, Evaluation & Observability

  • Execute retrieval quality testing using defined evaluation sets and review frameworks
  • Analyze metrics such as precision, recall, answer accuracy, and coverage
  • Monitor query behavior, failed intents, index freshness, and compliance through logging and telemetry
  • Use performance insights and user feedback to improve retrieval quality and content health

Launch & Continuous Improvement

  • Support pilot launches and rollout of AI-enabled HR content experiences
  • Develop training materials, runbooks, and enablement documentation
  • Participate in ongoing review cycles with content, HR operations, and data teams
  • Support scaling efforts, including automation of re-indexing, expanding content coverage, and integration with chatbots and enterprise search

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience building or supporting AI-ready content or retrieval systems in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in information architecture, content structuring, and metadata design
  • Experience applying taxonomy, classification, and governance models
  • Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and enterprise search concepts
  • Experience with semantic chunking, embeddings, and indexing techniques
  • Familiarity with privacy-safe AI practices, including permissions, PII handling, and auditability
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working as a lead contributor in matrixed environments
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with vector search and AI evaluation metrics
  • Knowledge of knowledge graphs and graph-based retrieval approaches
  • Experience with search relevance tuning and optimization
  • Experience with data pipeline instrumentation, including logs, metrics, and telemetry
  • Experience integrating with cloud-native platforms and enterprise systems
