It’s no small task, but it’s the reason we leap out of bed every morning to come to work. Because creating a better, brighter future for kids depends on it.
The Company is seeking an entrepreneurial, innovative SEO content author with expertise in family, parenting, and finance topics to join our team. We’re looking for someone excited to launch an in-house content start-up, leveraging emerging AI technologies to rapidly test & learn into a winning, results-oriented SEO strategy. Reporting to the Website GM, you’ll research engaging, high-volume search queries, utilize AI tools to generate short-form content, bolster that content with your own expertise and brand voice, and integrate it into our growing content catalog. Our goal is to be a primary informational stop for parents looking for advice on family, money, and more.
This role is a fully-remote, 20 hours per week, one month initial contract. The AI Copywriter's role is to research, strategize, prompt & generate, review and revise each piece of AI content, focusing on grammatical and factual accuracy while ensuring The company's unique brand tone and voice comes through consistently. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to review and edit content in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met.
Candidates for this role should be strong editors, writers, and communicators across a wide range of topics including parenting, finance, and more. Candidates should have proficiency with tools such as the Google Docs Suite and project management systems like Asana. Candidates with experience in SEO research, SEO content writing/editing, and AI writing are strongly preferred.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the SEO team on content strategy and keyword research
- Develop and write high-quality, SEO-optimized short-form content for The Company's Q&A blog using AI writing tools
- Review and revise content generated from AI sources for accuracy, quality, and consistent brand tone and voice

- Experience using AI tools to generate content
- Uncompromising precision and attention to detail
- Experience in uploading content to a CMS, like Contentful or Wordpress
- Strong research skills and the ability to assess the credibility of sources
- Experience in project management, leveraging tools such as Asana and Slack
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must work well in a remote team environment
- Background in writing or editing in the finance or parenting space is a plus
