Job description
Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.
We are seeking an Airtable Builder on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Airtable Builder is responsible for optimizing and maintaining Airtable bases throughout the department, ensuring they foster efficiency, transparency, and collaboration. You will help create new bases that utilize the most current Airtable technology, including automations, interfaces, and AI.
Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, and optimize Airtable bases for various teams, ensuring they align with evolving business needs.
- Maintain data integrity across Airtable bases with regular quality reviews and data reconciliations.
- Create new bases, interfaces, and automations
- Create complex Airtable formulas
- Collaborate broadly to create and implement cross-team workflows.
- Serve as the department’s go-to assistant for related inquiries or challenges.
- Conduct training sessions to maximize the effective use of Airtable systems and features.
- Create and update documentation detailing best practices, workflows, and processes.
- Coordinate with Airtable support and development teams as needed to address technical issues or request feature enhancements.
- Stay updated on platform releases and advocate for the internal adoption of new features and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Airtable design, maintenance, operations, or project management.
- In-depth expertise in Airtable, especially in building custom apps and interfaces.
- A track record of translating business requirements into functional Airtable designs.
- A robust understanding of database design principles.
- Adaptability in handling ambiguity and shifting business objectives.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide training and support to team members on Airtable best practices.
Preferred:
- A positive, proactive, and eager-to-learn attitude.
- Basic developer capabilities: JavaScript knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with creating integrations using APIs.
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of the larger No-Code/Low-Code ecosystem.
- Experience in customer success or onboarding roles for project management platforms.
