Job description

Our Customer was founded in 1982 in an effort to create a solid accounting firm headed by native professionals. They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is Hybrid in Hermitage, TN.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design and development of modern web-based applications, including program design, coding, testing, debugging, and requirements documentation at a mastery level under guidance.
  • Responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, building, deploying, and supporting application software that can work in a dynamic environment for multiple business areas and projects.
  • Ensures application design, development schedule, and implementation meet or exceed documented application scope/timeline, while adhering to established standards.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline. While an advanced degree is preferred, the value is placed on the extent of the relevant experience and accomplishments
  • 6+ years Industry experience, in developing and architecture of software platforms, products.
  • Prior experience in leading architecture activities like designing, roadmap, & proof-of-concepts on COTS platforms or Low Code/No Code platforms.
  • At least 4 years of experience on ServiceNow platform in modules like ITSM, HRSD, APM, PPM, GRC or ITAM and designing solutions within these modules.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers, complex projects, and multiple initiatives at the same time.
  • Extensive exposure to ServiceNow HRSD, related configurations and Architecture.
  • Extensive experience in using Instance Observer, Instance Security to interpret the metrics for Usage and Performance to meaningfully engage with other Platform architects and ServiceNow.
  • Experience in Thycotic Secret Server integrations.
  • Prior Experience in Managing and administering a large scale ServiceNow implementation for both firm internal as well as Managed Service Provider instances for external clients.

Preferred:
  • Exposure to ETL Tools that transfer data from ServiceNow - like Perspectium or Snow Mirror.
  • Extensive experience in administering, configuring, and managing enterprise applications like Globalscape.
  • Prior Knowledge and experience in configuration and maintaining Managed Access Control (MAC).
  • Knowledge on Integration Hub, Flow Designer, UI Framework and UI Builder is a plus.
  • Experience with NOW intelligence.
  • Experience with Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Exposure to Service Portal.
  • Exposure to capabilities in ServiceNow Washington version.
  • Experience working with SAFe, Scrum or Agile development processes.
