Job description
About Our Client
Our Client helps mid- to executive-level professionals land aligned, high-quality roles faster and negotiate stronger compensation packages through a proven coaching methodology, The LAND Method, paired with our proprietary LANDON AI tools.
We’re a small, mighty, purpose-driven team with high standards, deep integrity, and a whole lot of heart. Every conversation changes a life—and we don’t take that lightly.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a mature, emotionally intelligent Sales Consultant (Setter/Closer) who feels more like a coach than a setter/closer. If you’re the person who has always been told, “You’re amazing at talking to people—you don’t even feel like a salesperson,” then you’re probably our person.
This is a consultative, relationship-first sales role with zero pressure tactics. Your job is simple but meaningful: have powerful coaching-style conversations with prospective clients, help them get clarity, and guide them toward the right decision for their career.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct approximately 10-20 discovery/strategy calls per week (30–60 minutes each)
- Lead thoughtful conversations that uncover pain points, goals, and readiness for coaching
- Present our programs, methodology, and LANDON AI tools in a clear, grounded, inspiring way
- Maintain consistent follow-up via email, call, or text until a decision is made
- Manage your pipeline in HubSpot with clean notes and accurate forecasting
- Maintain reliable availability and honor a 4-hour booking alert window
- Set your own schedule and protect your energy and professionalism on camera
Who You Are:
Essential Qualities
You bring:
- 3+ years of B2C sales experience, ideally in service-based industries
- A heart-centered, consultative approach—listening before speaking is your default
- A naturally coaching-oriented style—you ask better questions than most people answer
- A calm, grounded presence that builds trust quickly
- Polished and articulate communication skills across video, phone, email, and chat
- Professional on-camera presentation (lighting, sound, attire, background)
- High comfort with tools like Zoom, Outlook, HubSpot, Slack, and ChatGPT
- A fast-learning mind with strong emotional intelligence and real-world experience
- Integrity and ownership—no excuses, no drama, no victim mindset
- A team-first mentality—you genuinely want clients to win
Bonus Points If You Have
- Career coaching, recruiting, HR, or talent development experience
- Experience with consultative sales inside corporate or professional services
- A life stage where part-time, meaningful work is ideal
- An understanding of career transition, layoffs, burnout, or reinvention
Deal-Breakers (Please Do Not Apply If…)
- You rely on high-pressure sales tactics
- You dominate conversations instead of facilitating them
- You resist video calls or don’t present professionally
- You want an entry-level role—our ideal clients are mid-to-senior level professionals
- You struggle with tech or need excessive hand-holding
- You want rigid, predictable full-time structure
What Success Looks Like
- 30% minimum close rate from discovery call to enrollment (i.e. If we send you 40 booked calls, you would be expected to close 12 clients)
- Clear, empathetic communication that leaves clients feeling seen and supported
- Responsive follow-up and zero “dropped balls”
- Clean CRM hygiene—organized, notes-rich, up to date
- Clients repeatedly share that you made their decision easy
Compensation & Growth
- $30/hr
- Competitive commission percentage for every client you enroll
- Monthly earning potential: $1,300–$3,000+ based on volume and close rate
- Growth path into Sales Manager overseeing systems, new hires, and performance
Schedule & Commitment
- 10–15 hours per week, fully remote
- You set your schedule with availability blocks
- Must be able to monitor new bookings with a 4-hour response window
- Reliable internet, quiet workspace, and consistent professionalism required
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- You’ll change lives every day—no exaggeration
- Flexible work that adapts to your life
- A supportive, collaborative team that values excellence and heart
- No bureaucracy, no micromanaging, no chaos—we move with intention
- Ongoing coaching, training, and access to our full suite of LANDON AI tools
How to Apply
Please submit:
- Your resume + a brief cover letter explaining why this role resonates
