Apprenticeship Program - Interactive Technology

The Mom Project is proud to be partnering with Accenture in direct support of their Technology Apprenticeship program. This program is intended to create opportunity for those interested in a career in Technology, but have not had the opportunity to obtain a 4 year degree.

Candidates must be located within 90 miles of Des Moines, IA.

About the apprenticeship:

• An “earn and learn” program providing:

• A full-time, yearlong position with an opportunity to be retained at the end of the program

Focused on candidates:

• With a high-school diploma/equivalent or an associate's degree (without a bachelor's degree)

The work:

As an Interactive Apprentice, you will support Accenture in their mission of changing the experiences of people in the world. You will learn and apply creativity to change the way people experience interactions with each other and with the brands and companies they see every day. You might spend your day:

• Developing digital and technology solutions that make a difference to business, society, and the environment
• Joining a diverse and inclusive team, filled with different Accenture teammates from around the world
• Identifying strategic solutions to achieve desired outcomes
• Learning programming skills to build portions of applications that solve our client's business and technology challenges
• Actively working in delivering large technology solutions to clients on time and within budget
• Learning about every stage of the Service Delivery Lifecycle –– from new system rollouts to enhancements to ongoing maintenance of applications
• Closely analyzing and testing any new components or enhancements to existing technology modules
• Talk with team members to design solutions that meet end users’ needs and technical requirements

Roll up your sleeves and work on all aspects of programming:

• Define, design and deliver new applications with your teammates.
• Develop the system details and interfaces
• Make sure critical systems continue running for our clients by maintaining the software code
• Analyze basic tech issues
• Keep well-written records describing how the software works and how to troubleshoot
• Support implementation of new technologies, ensuring a successful transition to what’s new

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree in Technology preferred but not required.
• A passion or interest in technology evidenced by courses taken (included self-taught) or prior experiences
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Bonus points if you:

• Have a strong track record of good grades or relevant, consistent work experience
• Can look at problems both analytically and creatively
• Feel comfortable speaking up and sharing your thoughts in person and in writing
• Are curious about digital marketing and technology and want to constantly learn
• Have experience being on a team –– at school, at another job, or in the military
• Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, JIRA, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud or Google Analytics is a plus.
• Analyzing digital marketing data using Excel
• Knowledge of digital marketing campaign setup and troubleshooting
• Have interest in areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to Design Research, Visual Design, and Content Design
