Our client is a rapidly growing luxury home furnishings company known for its high-quality products, ethical supply chain, and personalized customer experience. Headquartered in a northwestern suburb of Atlanta, the company designs, manufactures, and distributes rugs and textiles through top interior designers, national retailers, and e-commerce partners—achieving double-digit growth for over a decade.

In 2022, the company opened a 17,000-square-foot design studio adjacent to its headquarters, serving as a collaborative space for design professionals to experience its products firsthand.
Our client is looking for a full-time, permanent Art Director to work out of their Acworth, GA location. This is a hybrid position working 3 days onsite and 2 days remote from home.
The Art Director will oversee the creative development and execution of visual campaigns, brand assets, and marketing initiatives across multiple platforms in a collaborative, design-forward environment. This role requires a balance of hands-on design expertise, conceptual thinking, and team leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, agency-style environments and brings proven experience managing creative teams and delivering work at the highest standard. Reports directly to the VP of Brand and Creative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the CREATIVE DIRECTION and execution of brand campaigns, photo/video shoots, digital, print, and experiential projects.
- MANAGE AND MENTOR a team of designers, videographers, and freelancers, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
- COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIP with cross-functional teams (marketing, merchandising, PR, sales) to align creative concepts with business objectives.
- Maintain and evolve VisID /BRAND GUIDELINES, ensuring consistency and excellence across all visual touch points.
- Oversee END-TO-END CREATIVE PRODUCTION, from concept development through final delivery.
- PRESENT creative concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners with clarity and confidence.
- Stay ahead of design and cultural trends, bringing FRESH INSPIRATION to the team.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of professional design and art direction experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Must have agency experience with strong examples of brand campaigns and multi-channel creative work.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing creative teams.
- Strong portfolio that showcases luxury, lifestyle, or home category experience (a plus).
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a must
- Familiarity with motion/UX tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking and business objectives.
