Job description

Our Customer is an American worldwide clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are available in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.


We are seeking an Assistant Brand Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid in San Francisco, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain brief shells and updates within marketing technology tools to ensure campaign information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Manage reporting setup, asset information line items, and linking within campaign management platforms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brief status updates and tool hygiene across the team.
  • Conduct quality assurance on paid media assets and placements across platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, identifying discrepancies before campaign launch.
  • Partner with media teams to ensure creative specifications, copy, and targeting details are accurate and aligned with brand standards.
  • Route content to external agencies and vendors with clear timelines, feedback, and deliverables.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of small promotional content projects, including timelines, version control, and final approvals.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to improve content workflows.
  • Own store signage communications by coordinating with Retail Marketing and Store Operations teams.
  • Manage signage briefs, approvals, and change communications to ensure timely and accurate in-store messaging.
  • Ensure brand campaigns are consistently represented across physical retail environments.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, brand management, project coordination, or related field (internships accepted).
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms such as Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Adobe Workfront or Asana.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong accountability and follow-through.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong interest in marketing operations, campaign execution, and process management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail, fashion, or consumer brand marketing.
  • Exposure to shopper marketing, signage production, or retail operations.
  • Experience working with creative teams and external agency partners.
