Job description
Our Customer is the world's leading music company that owns and operates a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. They identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
We are seeking an Assistant E-Commerce Store Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (4 days on-site and 1 day remote/week) in Philadelphia.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Store Managers with project management for e-commerce stores.
- Support warehouse migration projects involving inventory transfers between warehouse locations.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining store environments.
- Perform general store maintenance and operational support tasks.
- Set up and update products, descriptions, images, and customer-facing store information.
- Ensure storefront functionality and e-commerce operations are optimized.
- Handle one-off platform updates for online shops.
- Monitor shipping rates and ensure pricing accuracy.
- Coordinate product restocks and inventory replenishment efforts.
- Assist with inventory management and inventory reporting.
- Support logistics and warehouse management operations.
- Work closely with fulfillment partners and customer service teams to ensure efficient customer experiences.
- Manage comp shipment requests.
- Conduct periodic reporting for clients as needed.
- Use sales reports to help identify opportunities to drive revenue.
- Partner with marketing and account teams to support merchandise launches and campaigns.
- Communicate with store management teams regarding project updates and operational needs.
- Support step-by-step weekly tasks and transition goals throughout warehouse migration initiatives.
- Maintain close attention to inventory counts, product tracking, and operational accuracy.
- Perform physical operational tasks, including sweeping and general warehouse/store upkeep.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with the Shopify e-commerce platform required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including extracting and saving information.
- Experience supporting ecommerce operations, inventory management, logistics, or warehouse functions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet tight timelines and strict deadlines.
- Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Experience supporting inventory transitions, warehouse operations, or fulfillment processes.
- Experience coordinating with multiple operational stakeholders and management teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Monday.com.
- E-commerce experience within the music industry.
- Experience with merchandise launches or e-commerce marketing support.
