Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.
Our customer is looking for a Associate Analyst on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Summary:
The Field Financing team is responsible for the back-office administration of Managing Partner and Managing Director loans, various allowance programs, and other special financing programs and reporting in support the field force. This team partners with internal stakeholders across the Field function and the enterprise, as well as field CFOs, bookkeepers, field leaders, and Financial Representatives.
Administers the team’s frontline production responsibilities with a keen focus on timeliness and accuracy. Responsible for adding value to the team by exchanging useful information, providing feedback, contributing to a positive work environment, sharing their knowledge/expertise in team meetings and cross training of team members and maintaining positive relationships with team members.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be supporting Succession Loan Support Program (SLSP).
- Manages many cases at a time, with case processing averaging 8-12 weeks per case.
- Works as liaison among the Field Financing Team Sr. Program Manager, Practice Management Consultants, and partner banks to coordinate information sharing for the administrative processing of SLSP loans.
- Ensure all details are accurate and complete before providing agreements to leadership for signature executing loan confirmation and funding.
- Oversees team’s SLSP special purpose email box for SLSP loan activity. Creates cases and resolves inquiries in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the team’s established SLAs.
- Participates in other loan related tasks such as processing with other loan programs, balancing and reconciliation activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with accounting/bookkeeping principles.
- Experience working with loan processing and loan documentation is desired.
- Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated skills in analytical problem solving, independent decision-making, and sound judgment in the application and communication of guidelines.
- Work experience demonstrating superior written and oral communication skills to resolve sensitive questions regarding lending policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a timely and quality manner.
- Demonstrated computer experience with solid keyboarding skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
- Customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge of field financing programs and NM’s field distribution system preferred.
