We are seeking an Associate Manager, B2B Retention, Ads Marketing on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.


This role will be responsible for creating communications and lifecycle programs to increase product adoption and activation of the Ads and Promotions product suite by the core merchant and advertising Partners. You will collaborate with key stakeholders of the Ads and Promotions business, the Lifecycle Retention team, and the Merchant Success teams to move key business metrics through the use of CRM channels (email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging).


Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute CRM strategies to increase adoption and activation of Ads and Promo products throughout the Merchant lifecycle.
  • Manage end-to-end development and execution of email campaigns. Includes driving the creative review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments, and capturing feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Operations, Analytics, and Strategy teams.
  • Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, and create and share regular performance reports.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Retention Marketing, Email Marketing, Customer Engagement, or CRM Operations; B2B/SaaS experience a plus (not a must!).
  • Familiarity with CRM technology, including ESPs (Iterable experience is a plus), segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; Can effectively communicate results of work to the broader team and frequently provides recommended actions.
  • Capable of using analytics tools (Excel and/or SQL) relevant to day-to-day campaign execution.
  • Experience with campaign experimentation, e.g., A/B, multivariate tests
  • Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & able to multitask.
